At its most fundamental level, KYD is an organization that helps facilitate and coordinate the efforts of local chapters and the young progressives who comprise them. The most efficient way to affect change is to organize activists in your local community, and that is precisely what our chapters do. At the high school, college, and county level, these chapters help connect like-minded young Democrats and enable them to contribute to the huge collective effort of electing Democratic candidates on the local, statewide, and national stage.
